The Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace Act came into effect in 2013 in India.  As per the act, every employer is required to constitute an Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) along with an External Committee Member at each office or branch that has 10 or more employees. The Act also makes it mandatory to conduct POSH awareness training sessions (POSH training) for all employees, and organize special training sessions for their Internal Committee (IC) members. In addition, the employer has to make sure that the Internal Committee files the annual compliance report on time.

  • Currently, assistance is provided through the distribution of a sample IC Constitution letter, downloadable by HR or IC members to facilitate internal formalities.

  • You have the option of updating the Minutes of the Meetings using the predefined format or template.

  • Once the ICMs activate the notification feature on TruProtect, the team will receive notifications when a party files a complaint.

  • The notification system is operational for ICMs and parties, providing updates on case developments. Parties can also track their case status using their unique tracking code.

  • Currently, you may obtain the signature externally and subsequently upload the signed copy. The signature process occurs outside TruProtect.

  • TruProtect implements role-based access control for Internal Committee Members (ICMs), External Committee Members (ECMs), and HR personnel. HRs are provided with access in sync their responsibilities, while only ICMs and ECMs have access to the deeper insights relevant to the complaint.
